'Starless Dreams' hits Turkey fest screen

Award-winning director Mehrdad Oskouei’s documentary ‘Starless Dreams’ is in contention at Adana International Film Festival in Turkey.

The internationally acclaimed Iranian doc is competing in the Turkish festival’s 24th edition held from September 25 to October 1, 2017.

‘Starless Dreams’ tells the story of girls under the age of 18 who are under the supervision of a rehabilitation center in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

The documentary was featured at the 34th Fajr Film Festival in Iran and the 66th Berlin International Film Festival in Germany.

‘Starless Dreams’ has grabbed a number of prestigious awards and titles from various film events around the world.

The film’s director, Mehrdad Oskouei was awarded the True Vision Award from the True/False Film Fest in the US state of Missouri.

Running for 24 years, Adana International Film Festival in Turkey is one of the most important film festivals in the country.
