US film festival to screen Iranian Animation ‘Koko Bobo’

Iran animation ‘Koko Bobo’ is to be screened at a US Film Festival.

Iranian Animation ‘Koko Bobo’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 27th edition of the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films in California, the US.

Directed by Rasoul Hosseini, 'Koko Bobo' tells the story of two close friends who are classmates. At school they learn some skills about traffic in the cities and, as a child, how to cross the streets with the help of their fathers, the police, and a traffic app.

The Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films (AKA ShortFest), being held annually in Palm Springs, California, is the largest film festival for short films in the US.

The festival shows more than 350 short films every year and hosts a Short Film Market with more than 3,000 new short films annually.

It also presents a three-day program of seminars, master classes, panels and roundtable discussions with free admission for all filmmaking and industry guests.

The event will take place on November 9-11, 2017.
