Russia Youth and Students fest to screen Iran movie ‘Parting’

Iranian film ‘Parting’ is to vie at the World Festival of Youth and Students, Russia.

Directed by Navid Mahmoudi, the film is to be screened in Sochi and Moscow at the latest international appearance.

The story depicts a teenage couple who love each other, but the arrival of the girl’s family from Afghanistan divides them.

Years after the separation, Nabi, the boy, pursues to locate Fereshteh, the girl in Europe, but gets himself into trouble doing so.

Held regularly since 1947, World Festival of Youth and Students is an international event organized jointly by some Russian institutes.
