‘Light Sight’ succeeds to grab 8 new awards

Iranian animation ‘Light Sight’ has succeeded to receive 8 new awards from August to October, 2017.

Directed by Seyed Moslem Tabatabaei,  the short animation grabbed the opportunity to shine at different international film festivals in the last 3 month and won 8 awards.

The festivals include:

-45th Sunrise Film Festival, August 18, 2017, the US. (Best Student Film Award)

-4th Pink City International Film Festival, September 1, 2017, India. (Best Short Animation Award)

-3rd Full Bloom Film Festival, September 14, 2017, the US. (Best Animation Award)

-18th Moondance International Film Festival September 15, the US. (Best Animation Award)

-10th Jahirina Film Festival, September 20 , 2017, Bosnia and Herzegovina. (Best Animation Award)

-9th DTLA Film Festival, September 21, 2017, the US. (Innovative Look in Short Film Award)

-5th Universal Film Festival September 28, 2017, the US. (Best Short Film Award)

-10th Wimbledon International Short Film Festival, October 7, 2017, the UK. (Best Animation Award)

“The animation has one character and one setting,” Tabatabaei told the media earlier on, adding, “The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside.”
