Iran ‘Unveiling Ceremony’ heads to China

Iran animated short ‘Unveiling Ceremony’ by Mehdi Boustani has qualified to compete at the 10th Cyber Sousa - Xiamen International Animation Festival in China.

Dedicated to animated shorts, features and series, the tenth edition of the Chinese festival will be hosting the participating films in three stages in October 2017.

Eventually the members of the festival’s judging jury will grant the Cyber Sousa Award to the winning productions of different categories in November.

The Iranian animation follows unveiling ceremony of a symbol; some issues, however, surface along the way.

The animated short piece was previously screened at various film festivals across the globe. It won special mention at the 2017 New Animation International Film Festival in the US.
