Two photo artists from Iran, including a teenage photographer, have held an exhibition of their works in Kazan city, Russia.
The exhibit titled ‘Architecture and Nature in Iran’ showcased photos taken by Parsa Khadem as well as Hossein Kiani from their country's attractions and architecture, a local media report said Friday.
The event was attended by an Iranian embassy official in the capital of Russia's Tatarstan Republic as well as prominent cultural and religious authorities in Kazan.
Khadem, the teenager photographer, told media, “I know there are close cultural ties between Iran and Tatarstan Republic. I strived to showcase Iran architecture in my photos,” adding, “I hope the exhibition makes people in Tatarstan more familiar with my country.”
Khadem’s instructor who jointly mounted the Kazan exhibition also said, “The works on display at the exhinition are just a glimpse of multifaceted Iran.”
