5 short docs listed by Art and Experience cinema

Art and Experience cinema has announced its independent nominations for the 34th Tehran short documentary film festival.

The jury comprised of Jafar Sanei Moghaddam, Houshang Golmakani, Iraj Taghi Pour, Amir Hossein Alam-ol-Hoda, Shahram Mokri, Seyfollah Samadian and Jamal Omid, who are members to the policy-making council of Art and Experience Cinema group.

After the screening, the jurors expressed appreciation to all the participants and released the list of nominations as follows:

1- ‘Animal’, directed by Bahman Ark and Bahram Ark and produced by Iran’s national cinema school

2- ‘Birthday Night’ directed by Omid Shams and produced by Iran’s national cinema school

3- ‘Hour 4’ directed by Atefeh Mehrabi and produced by Iran youth cinema society

4- ‘Ara’ directed by Yousef Kargar and produced by Iran youth cinema society

5- ‘Savad Kouhi’, which is named after a mountainous area in Iran, directed and produced by Mohammadreza Majd

The 34th edition of Tehran short film festival kicked off on October 17 and is holding its closing ceremony on October 22, 2017.
