German Film Week to launch in Iran

German Film Week is set to be held in Iranian capital city of Tehran under the aegis of “Art and Experience” cinematic group in Iran.

 Local media reported on Tuesday that the GFW event will screen a total of seven films from Germany on October 29 -November 4.

The screening sessions supported by German embassy in Iran will be mounted in three Iranian provinces of Tehran, Shiraz and Kerman.

“Art and Experience” cinematic group is an opportunity to show worthwhile movies chosen from non-commercial ones, in order to demonstrate the brilliance of their creators in the cinema community.

‘In Between Worlds’ by Feo Aladag and ‘Soul Birds’ by Thomas Riedelsheimer and Phoenix by Christian Petzold are among the selected films to be screened at the cultural event.

Art and Experience has previously organized the Brazilian as well as Armenian film week in Tehran, Shiraz and Isfahan.
