Hossein Shahabi: While writing the screenplays for my last two movies, I found out that there is a hidden matter with regards to legal issues. I haven’t seen anyone working on it in Iran and even in other countries.

It’s about being released on bail and the difficult conditions set for parole. I chose it as my subject. The problems prisoners have to deal with after they’re released. We chose this as our theme.

This theme has a strong dramatic potential. But I always thought whether I could convey the message that it has, given the way I work. I make movies that are realistic but this subject is very strong and full of twists.

There were times I wanted to let someone else work on the screenplay because I was sure that it can be turned into a very good one.

ifilm: Amir-Reza Delavari plays the role of a character who wants to do productive work but he gets into trouble.

Amir-Reza Delavari: It’s about a manufacturer who manufactures clothes. He’s the son-in-law of the lead actor played by Amir Jafari.

He has his own problems with regards to his future wife or I’d better say his fiancé; domestic problems and issues in the society related to his work. Normally, the issues he has at work influence his personal life.

ifilm: Diba Zahedi plays the role of Amir Jafari’s daughter.

Diba Zahedi: I play the role of Amir Jafari’s daughter; a girl whose father is imprisoned when she was 15 or 16 years old and ever since she has to live with her mother.

You know, it’s not only about girls whose fathers are imprisoned. It should not be so personalized. It’s the story of a girl who has stood on her own feet since she was fifteen years old. She has to earn a living for herself and her mother.

This is not only the case with girls whose fathers are in prison. A girl might be alone due to many reasons and she has to make ends meet. It makes her have a strong and independent character. So, when we see her, we think that she’s a girl about 30 years old, but in fact she’s only 24.
