Veteran Iranian actor Biouk Mirzaei was born on August 1, 1955. He is a Political Science graduate from the Islamic Azad University in Iran.

He took acting courses at Anahita Acting Academy in 1970 before landing a role in Television play 'Dream Mirror' directed by Davoud Mir-Bagheri.

The actor took up his first cinematic role by appearing in Saeed Ebrahimifar's 'The Pomegranate and the Cane' (1989).

Besides acting, Mirzaei did some shows on the Iranian radio stations, most notably 'Friday Morning with You'.

He is famed for costarring in films mostly with a comic theme such as ‘Summer Holidays’ (1996) and ‘The Deportees 2’ (2009).

‘Brick Made Boys’ directed by Majid Qarizadeh and Ramin Mohseni’s ‘From Afar’ also featured the actor during the first years of the 20th century in Iran cinema.

The artist acted roles in TV series, including Cherry Garden (1993-1994), ‘Heroes Don’t Die’ (1995-1997), ‘A Fistful of Eagle Feathers’ (2005), ‘Cops and Robbers’ (2011), ‘Operation 125 (3)’ (2011-2012) 'The Pahlavi Hat' (2012-2013), The Top Secret (2014) and ‘Days of Youth’ (1997).
