‘999999999’ gains French Int’l Fest Best Experimental Short Film Award

Iranian experimental short film ‘999999999’ has received Best Experimental Short Film Award from the second edition of Phenicien International Film Festival in France.

The Iranian successful experimental short film succeeded to shine at the Fernch int’l film event by receiving Best Experimental Short Film Award.

‘999999999’ has focused on the theme that people climb up stone stairs from childhood throughout the rest of their lives, and nightmares pour on them like a rain.

Azimi’s 10-minute experimental has so far vied at a number of international film events, including Roma Cinema Doc 2017 in Italy and Filmstrip International Film Festival 2017 in Romania.

It has won several international awards, such as the Best Short Film at Gold Movie Awards 2017 in the UK.

The second edition of Phenicien International Film Festival was held on November 15 and ended on December 6, 2017 by awarding the winners.
