Iran grabs narrative short award in Canada

Iran short film ‘The Man Who Forgot To Breathe’ gains top award at the 3rd edition of the Canada Independent Film Festival in Montreal.

Saman Hosseinpuor’s film won the Grand Prix narrative short at the event came to an end on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

“A Man who forgets to breathe while sleeping recently had a quarrel with his wife, she wanted to leave him and get a divorce,” a synopsis for the short reads.

In November, the short film was screened in Germany at Exground Film Festival.

The director’s previous work ‘Fish’ received various accolades and laurels at global film events.

The 3rd Montreal Independent Film Awards was held December 8-10 in Canada.
