‘Turquoise’ to be screened at London Lift-Off Film Festival

Iranian short film ‘Turquoise’ has been scheduled to go on screen at the 8th edition of the London Lift-Off Film Festival in the UK.

Directed by Rouzbeh Misaqi, the short film succeeded to reserve a seat at the London film event.

“Life in a rural Iranian village is turned upside down by a rumor that there is a box of treasure, hidden somewhere in the village, which promises to make its finder rich and prosperous,” a short synopsis of the flick reads.

The short film has so far attended a number of International film festivals. including the Edinburgh Short Film Festival in the UK and the Persian International Film Festival in Australia.

Founded in 2010, the London Lift-Off Film Festival is a subcategory of Lift-Off Global Network, being held all around the world. It provides opportunity for filmmakers to screen their selected products.

The Lift-Off Global Festival is being hosted in different countries during the annual period and will finally end on December 3, 2018.
