Fajr Film Festival’s audience choice ‘The Good, The Bad, The Gaudy’ by Iran director Peyman Ghasemkhani is set to be developed into a TV series.
The new series will be directed by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh, a media report said Monday, adding that the director shift was done after Ghasemakhni gave his consent for the change.
The TV production starts shooting some time in January till February 2018.
‘The Good, The Bad, The Gaudy’ won the Audience awards at 35th edition of Iran Fajr Film Festival held in February 2017.
According to a report, the flick was recently named one of the three highest-grossing films in Iran cinema history
Penned by Ghasemkhani, the film features Iranian actors Hamid Farrokhnejad, Pejamn Jamshidi and Sam Derakhshani.
Pejman Jamshidi and Sam Derakhshani made names as acting partners in the popular Iranian comedy series ‘Pejman’.
‘The Good, the Bad and the Frivolous’ narrates the story of a film director who has to use two superstars for his new film contrary to his desire.
