A kid’s song on an animated video by Iran’s Rezvan studio, depicting the life and miracles of Prophet Jesus for Iranian children is publicly released on Christmas Eve.
Let’s take the chance to see what Islam says about the holy figure.
According to Islam, Jesus:
1-was a Messenger of the One God.
2-was born of a Virgin Mother.
3-had a miraculous birth.
4-spoke in the cradle.
5- performed miracles.
But the Quran has rejected some common beliefs about Jesus. Here’s a few:
-Trinity is considered polytheism by God (Monotheistic, Abrahamic) religions worship ONE God).
-Jesus wasn’t the son of God (and absolutely no one else has ever been or will be).
-Jesus wasn’t killed on the cross; rather, God lifted him up to His presence.
The Gospel of Saint Barnabas (banned after ascension of Prophet Jesus, for 12 years), is the one Muslims agree to be the most unaltered bible; it’s the one in which glad-tidings of the next (and last) prophet are verbalized. The other bibles have been altered, according to Quran.
In the simple language of music and poem, the above video, directed by Rasoul Azargoon, with a poem by Zahra Hagh Jooei, and song by kid-singer Arshia Borzoo, was aired on Iran’s children TV channel on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ (PBUH).
