‘The Man Who Wasn’t Here’ receives award from a Lithuanian filmfest.

Iranian short film ‘The Man Who Wasn’t Here’ has succeeded to receive Best Director Award from the 3rd edition of the Wolves Independent International Film Festival (WIIFF) in Lithuania.

‘The Man who wasn’t Here’ directed by Ata Mojabi won the Best Director Award from the 2017 summer edition of the Lithuanian film event, the festival’s website announced recently.

The short film is unique in form and style. It took two years for the producer to accomplish it. It was made by remixing and re-framing some of the most important films of the cinema history. 'The Man Who Wasn't Here' is about revenge, intolerance, forgiveness, and cinema.

Wolves Independent International Film Festival was established in 2015. It is a non-profit film organization for professional filmmakers.

WIIFF is located in a nice village called Saldutiškis in Lithuania. It is a three-day film event which showcases films about nature, heritage, environment, history, culture, ethnography, adventure, wildlife, indigenous cultures and social issues.

WIIFF is a seasonal film event being held four times a year.
