Iran short film ‘Live’ has been shortlisted by the third international Cefalu Film Festival in Italy.
Scripted and directed by Pedram Habib Piran, the 7-minute flick was chosen to vie at the competition section of the festival.
‘Live’ depicts the story of a young man who lives in his world of imaginations, and how he is set free from his mental images.
The movie cast list includes Parisa Sadeghzadeh and Habib Piran himself.
One of the prominent functions of short films is lingering on social harms in the shortest possible time frame.
The "Cefalù Film Festival Pino Scicolone" is a meeting point for the presentation and promotion of films and videos of every nationality, genre and duration that address the themes of friendship, the city, peace and the future.
Cefalu festival awards the best film, selected from among 100 short movies, one thousand Euros. There are also the special jury prize, the best director award, the best actress and best actor awards, best foreign short film, and best animated short film, as well as the best script and best music.
The third edition of Cefalu Film Festival will be held June 1 to Sepember 1, in Cefalu, Sicily, Italy.
