Gone too soon: child star death stunned ‘In the Eye of the Storm’

ifilm TV series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ lost its starlet with the death of Bita Tavakoli at the age of 10.

Bita Tavakoli, who made her acting debut at the age of 5 with ‘An Umbrella for Two’, passed away in a car accident in 2006. She was only 10 years old then but had worked in several films and advertisements.

Bita Tavakoli had proved her acting prowess with films including ‘Sam and Narges’ (2001), ‘The Thirteenth Bridge’ (2005) and ‘An Umbrella for Two’ (2001).

She was a rising talent in films and her death at a young age came as a huge shock for Iran cinema.

This Iranian child actress of Tajik descent was born in 1996 and made her last appearnce in acting career in ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ which is currently on ifilm.
