Iranian pop and traditional vocalist Mohammad Esfahani recited Quran at the age of 12 during the welcoming ceremony for Imam Khomeini (RA).
The welcoming ceremony for Imam Khomeini (RA), late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was held at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran on February 1, 1979 when the young vocalist Mohammad Esfahani recited verses from the Holy Quran.
Mohammad Esfahani has vocalized the title sequence of several ifilm series including ‘The Gift of Darkness’, ‘The Redemption’, ‘Vafa’, ‘Until Being with Sorayya’ and ‘Shokraneh’ which is slated to be televised on Februray 10, 2018.
Imam Khomeini was the founder of Islamic Republic of Iran and the leader of the country’s Islamic Revolution in 1979 that saw the overthrow of Mohammad-Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of the country.
Born in July 5, 1966, Mohammad Mahdi Vaezi Esfahani is an Iranian pop and traditional singer. He graduated from Iran University of Medical Sciences in 1997 while learning Persian music from veteran Iranian virtuosos.
