Iranian director Ebrahim Hatamikia tells local media he wants the Middle East to see his film ‘In the Levant Time’.

Hatamikia said that he is eager to see his latest project on Daesh screened in the Middle East.

The renowned Iranian director added that the threat of Daesh still remains.

“The Daesh forces have only lost their ground, but they still exist… they may appear in a different form again,” he remarked.

The film focuses on security threat by terrorists when an Iranian plane conveying humanitarian aid to Syria is challenged at Damascus Airport.

Popular Iranian actors such as Babak Hamidiyan and Hadi Hejazifar as well as a number of actors from Syria and Lebanon star in the movie.

‘In the Levant Time’ director has so far received several domestic and international awards for ‘In the Name of My Father’, ‘Red Ribbon’, ‘The Glass Agency’, ‘From Karkheh to Rhine’, ‘Mohajer (Immigrant)’, ‘The Scout’, ‘The Purple’, and ‘Che (Chamran)’.

Hatamikia’s previous film ‘Bodyguard’ has been screened in many countries, including Germany, Canada, Australia, Britain, Lebanon, Syria and Afghanistan.
