Iranian documentary ‘Follow the White Rabbit’ directed by Mohammad Hossein Soltani has been chosen to compete at a film festival in India.

The 50th Kolkata film festival in India’s West Bengal state will show the Iranian documentary in its international competition section.

The documentary follows the story of a French international chef who goes to Iran to set up a restaurant. After traveling there, he falls in love and starts to study the religion of Islam. The chef changes his name to François Hossein.

The Kolkata film festival is held on a monthly basis, which started in November 2016.
