Iran short film to be screened at Silk Road Film Festival in Ireland.

Iranian short film 'Numbness' has been set to participate at the 7th edition of Silk Road Film Festival in Ireland.  

Directed by Milad Jarmooz, the short film is to represent Iran at the Irish film event.   

“Setareh is silent. Just one person knows the reason for her silence,” a short synopsis for the flick read.

So far, ‘Numbness’ has attended more than 30 international festivals all around the world including Scotland, the US, Nigeria, Australia, Italy, India, UK, Ireland, Ukraine, Indonesia, Sweden and Pakistan.

Founded in 2012, the Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) is an internationally acclaimed film event which is held in March every year. The festival also holds year-round screenings, talks & events.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for March 7-11, 2018, in Dublin, Ireland.
