Iran series 'Golshifteh' off to home release

Iranian series 'Golshifteh' directed by Behrouz Shoeibi heads straight for home release.

The first episode of the series entered the domestic market of home entertainment on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

The social comedy stars renowned thespians such as Mehdi Hashemi, Mahnaz Afshar, Houman Seyyedi, Vishka Asayesh, Siamak Ansari, Nazanin Bayati, Bahareh Kian-Afshar and Shila Khodadad.

Behrouz Shoeibi’s movie debut was ‘The Glass Agency’ (1997).

Besides acting, he has worked as an assistant director and cinema, television director.

In 2012, Shoeibi directed his first movie ‘The Corridor’ which won a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Film in the New Vision section.

He has appeared in movies, including ‘Day Break’ (2005) and ‘Gold and Copper’ (2008).

Among the directed works of the artist is the TV series named ‘The Recluse’ (2014).

He also made an appearance as an actor in the series ‘Loneliness of Leila’ (2015).
