Fajr Int'l Filmfest deadline extended for another week

Deadline for Iranian movies to register at the competition section of the 36th Fajr Int'l Filmfest has been extended for another week.

Iranian filmmakers receive another week to submit their works at the competition section of the 36th Fajr International Film Festival.

The new deadline for submitting movies will be Thursday March 8, 2018.

The feature films with time duration of at least 75 minutes and Short films which are at most 15 minutes could be accepted at the festival.

Established in 1982, the Fajr International Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, the Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

Directed by Reza Mirkarimi, the 36th edition of the festival runs April 19-27, 2018 in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
