‘Immortality’ to compete at Newcastle Int’l filmfest in Britain

Iran film ‘Immortality’ has been scheduled to be screened at the 9th edition of Newcastle International Film Festival in Britain.

The flick is to attend the competition section of the event.

Directed by Mehdi Fard-Qaderi, ‘Immortality’ depicts events happening on a train during a rainy night. The film chronicles six different families on different carriages of the train, with their individual stories gradually unfolding.

Notable among the cast of the film are Anna Nemati, Faghiheh Soltani, Manouchehr Alipour, Alireza Ostadi, Soudabeh Bayzai, Maral Farjad and Atabak Nader.

Founded in 2009, the Newcastle International Film Festival is a four day event taking place across venues throughout the historic British city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne between March 29th and April 1st 2018.
