Iran movie 'Mothering' among bestselling titles of week

The movie 'Mothering' has been ranked among the 5 bestselling titles of the week in Iranian box office.

Directed by Roqiyeh Tavakkoli, 'Mothering' succeeded to join the 5 high-grosssing films of the week just after 1 week of screening.

According to a local media report the weekly gross for the flick reached 1,117,040,000 Rials.

'Mothering' is about two sisters one of whom deserted her lover while in the case of the other girl, the scenario is the other way around.

Other high grossing movies of the Iranian box office for this week (March 1-7, 2018) are respectively ‘No Date, No Signature’ directed by Vahid Jalilvand (Weekly gross: 8,435,910,000 Rials, Total gross: 34,124,130,000 Rials), 'Wing Mirror' directed by Manouchehr Hadi (Weekly gross: 4,932,420,000 Rials, Total gross: 197,338,670,000 Rials), ‘We Are So Cool’ directed by Bahman Goudarzi (Weekly gross: 2,414,970,000 Rials, Total gross: 11,477,060,000 Rials), and 'Israfil' directed by Ida Panahandeh (Weekly gross: 1,743,620,000 Rials, Total gross: 4,301,520,000 Rials).
