Iran movie 'Duel' to screen at Italy film festival

Iranian short film 'Duel' has been picked to be screened at the Skepto film festival in the Italian city of Cagliari.

Iranian filmmaker Mohammadreza Kheradmandan's 'Duel' will join the 9th Skepto festival, which will be held in Cagliari from April 18-21.

With the tagline, "A Duel at the Crossroads," the Iranian short has gone on to win the Best Short Film prize from the London Iranian Film Festival 2017.

Among the short flick's cast members include Amir-Hossein Miri, Payam Souri and Parsa Abyar.

The Skepto International Film Festival is competitive in nature, though open to all short movies.

According to the fest official website, the jury received more than 600 movies for the latest run, with a wide range of genres, styles, themes and production budget.
