Iran box office smash to screen with starring actors

Iran new offering 'Confiscation' is set to enjoy public screening with the attendance of the flick’s starring actors.

According to a Thursday media report, the film which grabbed the first spot for this week at Iranian local box office will be screened in the country’s capital city of Tehran.

 Reza Attaran and Mehran Ahmadi are due to be on the screening.

The flick clinched the top spot among movies that went on show since the beginning of the new Persian year in late March.

 ‘Confiscation’ is a comedy that follows the story of a SAVAK (Iran's security service before the Islamic Revolution) agent escaping to the US after the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

The feature-length comedy stars Armenian thespians alongside Iranian artists.
