'The Home' (Ev) has been selected for screening at Denmark’s Film Institute during a festival of Iranian films.
Directed by Asghar Yousefinejad, ‘The Home’ narrates the story of a dead man who has made his will to dedicate his body for medical studies.
However, his daughter disagrees and the whole film revolves around the challenges the girl has with those who try to take the body.
‘The Home’ has so far received significant approvals from both critics and cinema fans all around the globe.
It has competed at a number of renowned festivals, including the Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan and the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia.
The flick won the Golden Simorgh award for best film at the 35th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Tehran.

Born in 1969 in Tehran, Yousefinejad has worked as journalist for movie magazines like Film Report and Monthly Film before starting his career as a filmmaker.
The Danish festival will also screen a number of works by some acclaimed Iranian filmmakers, including Abbas Kiarostami, Narges Abyar, Behnam Behzadi, Rokhsareh Qaem-Maqami, Shahin Armin, Sohrab Daryabandari, and Ali Souzandeh.
The Danish Film Institute (DFI) is a government institution to promote film art, film culture and cinema culture in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Danish festival of Iranian films is slated for April 15-28, 2018.
