New look for Iran actress to compete at Fajr Int’l filmfest

Iran actress Behnoush Bakhtiari is to appear with a new look at the 36th edition of Fajr International Film Festival.

Wearing a new look, Behnoush Bakhtiari will compete at the festival with 'Astigmatic' at the helm of Iran director Majid-Reza Mostafavi.

The 85-minutes social drama narrates the story of a couple, Ensi and Zabin, who live in the suburbs of Tehran expecting a baby, however, the destiny is not as they could predict.

Hossein Pakdel, Niki Karimi, Siamak Safari and Hesam Mohammadi, Mohsen Kiayee and Hadi Hejazifar are the cast members of ‘Astigmatic’.

Fajr International Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and showcases films promoting artistic contribution to the medium.   

The 2018 edition of Fajr International Film Festival is slated for April 19-27, 2018.
