Iranian movie ‘Texas’ releases trailer

The first trailer of Iranian comedy ‘Texas’  has been unveiled.

The movie had been slated to appear on the silver screen in Iran from Nowruz or the Persian New Year holidays (starting March 21), but reports say the screening is rescheduled for later.

Directed by Masoud Atyabi, ‘Texas’ has an action comic theme and enjoys some foreign stars.

“Never threaten an Iranian, even in Texas,” a tagline from the flick says.

Pejman Jamshidi, Sam Derakhshani and Hamid Farrokhnejad star in the movie.

Atyabi is an Iranian producer, production manager and director who graduated in production management.

He has directed a number of movies, including ‘Calamities of the Maiden’, ‘The Fighter Rooster’, ‘Morning of the Seventh Day’, ‘The First Condition’ and ‘The Silent Tower’.
