‘Patio’ directed by Maryam Bahrololoumi has unveiled the first official trailer.
The movie is to vie at the competition section of the 36th Fajr International Film Festival.
‘Patio’ is also present at Eastern Vista and Debut Films sections as well as the international film market of the event.
‘The flick which narrates a feminine story set in an urban space will be based on a script written by Hamed Ghasemi, titled ‘The Roof Bell’.
After making some short fiction and experimental films, ‘Patio’ is the first indie experience of Maryam Bahrololoumi as feature film director with cinematographer Massoud Amini-Tyrani and sound recordist Ali Kian-Ersi accompanying the helmer.
Established in 1982, the FIff celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.
Since its establishment, the Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
Directed by Reza Mirkarimi, the 36th edition of the festival is slated for April 19-27, 2018, in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
