Iran film ‘Confiscation’ premieres in the US

Iran comedy ‘Confiscation’ by director/actor Mehran Ahmadi has gone on silver screens in the US.

US cinemas have begun to premiere ‘Confiscation’ from April 21st, 2018.

The Landmark Regent Theatre in Westwood hosted the premiere of ‘Confiscation’ and received a warm welcome from the audience.

Landmark's Regent Company works as the distributor of ‘Confiscation’ in the US.

Set in the US and Armenia, ‘Confiscation’ is a comedy film that follows the story of a SAVAK (Iran's security service before the Islamic Revolution) agent escaping to the US after the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Reza Attaran, Houman Seyyedi, Babak Hamidian, Hadi Kazemi and Mir-Taher Mazloumi star in the feature comedy.

The film was a success at local box office and managed to gross 74,337,680,000 Rials at 2018 Iran box office.
