Asadi, Saeed (born May 31, 1953, Tehran) 

Saeed Asadi studied Cinema in the US. He began his cinematic career with writing and directing the movie ‘Mirage’ (1986) in Sweden. He also acted in the movie.

He has directed and wrote several movies, including ‘The Lost Love’ (1996), “Eve’s Red Apple’ (1998), ‘Swan Song’ (2000), ‘Guest’ (2006), ‘Retaliation’  (2007), ‘24th Street’ (2008), ‘The Woodpecker’ (2011) and ‘Autumn Evening’ (2012).

Asadi has directed the telefilm ‘My Older Son’ (2009) as well. 

Besides directing and scriptwriting, Asadi lecturers at universities and have produced several movies.
