Daad, Seifollah (born 1955, Khoramshahr – died July 28, 2009, Tehran) 

Seifollah Daad was a producer, screenwriter and director who began his artistic career in 1978 as a production supervisor in Shiraz Radio and Television.
    
He was the director, writer and editor of the movie ‘Survivor’ (1994). The movie won the special award of the jury at Fajr International Film Festival and was also nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Actress in a Leading Role. 

Daad directed several movies, including ‘Under the Rain’ (1984). 

He was the founder of cinematic institute of ‘Sina Film’. He also acted as board chair of House of Cinema in 1995-1997. 

Daad worked as deputy head of the cinema affairs department attached to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and a member of Script Review Council.
