The latest photos show key cast members, including Merila Zarei, Farhad Ayeesh, Alireza Kamali and Behnam Tashakkor, in their roles.
Alireza Kamali portrays Imran, the father of Prophet Moses during his childhood, while Behnam Tashakkor plays Pharaoh. Veteran actor Farhad Ayeesh takes on the role of Anubis.
The cinematic adaptation focuses on the early years of ‘Prophet Moses’ and features a diverse ensemble cast, including Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Shakib Shajareh, Maryam Sarmadi, and two young actors, Gandom Sheikhi and Delsa Mohammadi.
Produced by Simafilm Center, the film is part of a larger project that includes a 52-episode television series chronicling the life of ‘Prophet Moses’ from before his birth.
The series had been in pre-production for several years, initially set to be directed by Farajollah Salahshour, the visionary behind ‘Prophet Joseph’.
Following his passing, Jamal Shourjeh was appointed as director but had to step down due to health issues, leading to Hatamikia taking over the project.
IRIB executives have emphasized the use of advanced filmmaking technologies in the series, which is set to begin production immediately after the completion of the cinematic version.
