Jafari, Behnaz (born 1974, Tehran)
Behnaz Jafari is a theater, television and cinema actress. She studied Dramatic Literature in the Islamic Azad University.
In 1994, she started her professional career by playing a small role in the movie ‘Blue Scarf’.
She has appeared in various TV series, including ‘The Rise of Mokhtar (Mokhtarnameh)’ (2008), ‘Scarlet Soil’ (2000), ‘Time of Rebellion’ (2000-2001) and ‘It's All There’ (2014).
Jafari has also played roles in films such as ‘Fire and Water’ (2000), ‘The Visitor of Rey’ (2000), ‘Kandelous Gardens’ (2004), ‘A Time for Love’ (2007).
Her performance in ‘A House on the Water’ (2001) won a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting at the 20th Fajr International Film Festival.
‘The President's Cell Phone’ (2011) earned Jafari a Diploma of Honor for Best Actress from the 30th Fajr International Film Festival.
