Maryam ‘s back in Tehran after living with her aunt in Paris for eight years, and she’s mad at just about everyone and everything. She’s upset with her father for marrying another woman after her mother died when Maryam was a child, and of course she hates her step-mother and step-brother for taking her father’s affection away. There’s only one person who can put up with her bad attitude, and that’s Mansoor, who’s been in love with her for years and sees something in her no one else does.
