Akbari, Abdolreza (born April 3, 1953, Tehran)

Abdolreza Akbari joined the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in 1968 and began his artistic career with theater.

He made his cinematic debut in 1984 with ‘Douleh Tou Prison’.

Some of the movies in which he has played roles include ‘Retribution’ (1987), ‘The Burning Poplars’ (1989), ‘Mr. Demarche’ (1991), ‘The Refugee’ (1993), ‘The Girl in the Sneakers’ (1998), ‘The First Letter’ (2002), ‘Paradise Stop’ (2006), ‘The Outcasts’ (2006), ‘Morning’s Child’ (2010) and ‘God’s Smile’ (2013).

 ‘Hero’s Don’t Die’ (1997), ‘Born Again’ (1998), ‘Coma’ (2007), ‘Operation 125’ (2008), ‘Solace of the Heart’ (2009) and ‘Passion to Fly’ (2013) are among series in which he has appeared.
