Ahmadi, Morteza (born November 1, 1924, Tehran – died December 21, 2014, Tehran)
Morteza Ahmadi made his stage debut in 1942, and then tried his talent in singing, acting and voice acting for the radio.
He made his film debut in Nosratollah Mohtasham’s ‘The Adventures of Life’ (1953).
Ahmadi appeared in several movies, including ‘Sharareh’ (1971), ‘The Bus’ (1985), ‘The Mystery’ (1986), ‘Fight in Tasouki’ (1986), ‘The Grand Cinema’ (1988), ‘Inheritance’ (1988), ‘The Empty House’ (1991), ‘The Chump’ (1991), ‘Nassereddin Shah Film Actor’ (1991), ‘A Gift From India’ (1994), and ‘Red Cap and Cousin´(1994).
He also acted in a number of series such as ‘The Mirror’ (1987), ‘Ziba Beauty Salon’ (1990), ‘New Year’s Holidays’ (1991), ‘The Store’ (1996), ‘Tehran License Plate 11’ (1997), ‘Danny and Me’ (1998-1999), ‘Family Restaurant’ (2001), ‘As Simple As That’ (2007), and voice acted in the animated series ‘Shekarestan’ (2008-2013).
Ahmadi wrote a number of books mostly to review the history of Tehran.
He also published some music albums where he sings old local lyrics of Tehran.
