Babak, Reza (born March 10, 1945, Tehran)
Born Reza Feshangchi, Reza Babak studied Acting and Directing. He made his debut with theater.
His first television role was in the film 'Ballad of Tara' (1979).
After a ten-year hiatus, he resumed acting in 1989 appearing in 'Reyhaneh' (1989) which saw him nominated for a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
In 1991 he appeared in 'The Singing Cat' and wrote the screenplay for 'Mr. Luck' (1994).
What made him a household name, however, was the drama 'Ziba Barbershop' (1990).
His other films and series include 'Primrose Flower' (1991), 'The Sunny Man' (1995), 'The Store' (1996), 'The Purple' (2004), 'Night Path' (2006), 'Gharib's World' (2007), 'Invitation' (2009), 'The Safe' (2009) and 'Special Guests' (2011).
