Khorvash, Fakhri (born May 31, 1929, Kermanshah - died June 10, 2023, the US)

Born Fakhri Asvadi, Fakhri Khorvash finished high school at 16 and entered college to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.

She was working as a teacher when she was chosen by the 'Bachelor Society' to act in a play.

Her outstanding performance led her to participate in other plays and from 1954 to 1958, she appeared in seven movies.

She collaborated with well-known names such as Jamshid Mashayekhi, Ezzatollah Entezami, Jamileh Sheikhi and others to bring different plays to life on the small screen.

She has acted in 38 movies such as 'For You' (1965), ‘Mr. Simpleton’ (1970), 'Messed Up' (1972), 'Restless' (1973), 'Quarantine' (1982), 'Shirin and Farhad' (1995), and 'A Man Made of Glass' (1998).

Her last film was ‘A Little Kiss’ (2005) in which she appeared at the age of 75.

She has also starred in a number of television series such as 'Lady Qamar's House' (1968), ‘Amir Kabir’ (1984), 'The Cherry Orchard' (1993), 'The Lost Paradise' (1996), 'Imam Ali' (1991-1996), 'Heroes don't Die' (1995-1997), 'All My Children' (1997), 'The Magic Coat' (1998-1999), 'Lighter Than Darkness' (1999-2002), 'A House in the Dark' (2002), and 'The Circle of Suspicion' (2002-2004).
