Amir Kabir is the story of one of Iran’s most famous historical figures, and the most famous of Iran’s Qajar dynasty. He served as Prime Minister of Persia under Naser al-Din Shah. But as a man of the people and a true patriot, his policies, revolutionary for their time, don’t sit well with pampered court members, the Shah’s mother and foreign entities who were used to taking advantage of the subservience and complacency of Iran’s rulers.
