Bahrani, Shahriyar (born 1951, Tehran) 

Shahriyar Bahrani studied Animation at the London Film Academy based in the UK.

He began his career with ‘Sepah’ television group.

He was one of the founders of Mahtab Film Office in 1989.

Bahrani has directed the movie and series ‘Saint Mary’ (2000). He has also written and directed various movies, including  ‘Flag-bearer’ (1984) ‘Crossing’ (1986), ‘Attack on H-3’ (1994), ‘The World Upside-Down’ (1997) and ‘The Kingdom of Solomon the Prophet’ (2008).

He has also acted in the movies ‘Turtle’ (1996) and ‘Secret Club’ (1998).

Bahrani also worked as a director consultant and editor as well as a trailer director.
