Foroutanian, Shahrokh (born 1957, Tehran)
Shahrokh Foroutanian studied painting with Aidin Aghdashloo, before teaching it for eight years.
He entered the film industry due to his friendship with the late director Ali Hatami and began working as a costume, scene and make-up designer for the film ‘Takhti’ (1994).
He continued his job as a scene designer in ‘Tutia’ (1998), and ‘Blue Triangle’ (1999).
Foroutanian also appeared in ‘The Doctors’ (1998), ‘Sharareh’ (1999), ‘The Last Supper’ (2001), ‘The Lizard’ (2003), ‘Gilaneh’ (2004), ‘Café Setare’ (2004), 'Slowly' (2005), ‘Eqlima’ (2006), ‘Yousef’ (2010), ‘Kissing the Face of the Moon’ (2011), ‘The Corridor’ (2011) and 'Tales' (2011).
