Ladan Mostofi left university to pursue her acting dreams. She became more active in cinema after her marriage with a cinema director Shahram Asadi and starring in the movie ‘The Fateful Day’.

Mostofi became a household name in the series ‘Time of Rebellion’ (2002) directed by Kamal Tabrizi.

She has appeared in many movies, including ‘A Girl Named Tondar’ (2000), ‘Look at Me’ (2002), ‘Goodnight Commander’ (2005), ‘5 p.m., Ferdous Park’ (2005), ‘Payback’ (2007), ‘The Fateful Night’ (2008) and ‘Yousef’ (2010).

 The actress also played in series such as ‘The Green Journey’ (2001-2002), ‘A House in the Dark’ (2003), ‘Sheikh Bahaee’ (2003-2008) and ‘Jalaleddin’ (2014).
