Moqaddam, Saman (born 1968, Tehran) 

Saman Moqaddam studied Cinema in Iran’s Cinema Educational Complex.

He began his career as an assistant director on the movie ‘The Wolf's Trail’ (1991), directed by Masoud Kimiai.

Moqaddam has also worked as a director consultant, writer and producer.

He has directed and written the movies: ‘Siavash’ (1998), ‘The Party’ (2000) and ‘Many Happy Returns’(2010).

Moqaddam has also directed several other movies, including ‘Café Setare’ (2004), ‘Max’ (2004), ‘Baguette’ (2007), ‘A Simple Romance’ (2012) and ‘Sperm Whale’ (2013).

Among his TV series include ‘Paridokht’ (2007) and ‘Shams-ol-Emareh’ (2009).
