Kazem Balouchi graduated in acting and theater directing from Tehran University Faculty of Fine Arts. 

He has tried his hand at script writing, directing, production management and acting. 

He made his stage debut in the play 'Silent', directed by Jafar Vali. 

Balouchi later directed and acted in 'The Story of That Man Who Dreamt' (1991).

He has also appeared in 'Night of Punishment' (1984), 'Paris to Paris' (2010) and 'Cinema Dream' (2011).
