Osivand, Ali (AKA Ali-Reza Osivand: born November 22, 1957, Masjed Soleyman)

Ali Osivand holds a Bachelor’s degree in Acting and a Master’s in Acting and Theater Directing from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran.

He made his film debut with ‘Penitentiary’ (1983) and besides acting in the movie, he worked as a production assistant.

He has appeared in movies such as 'The Refugee' (1993), 'Seven Stones' (1997), 'Rules of the Game' (1997), 'A Man Made of Glass' (1998), ‘Under the City's Skin’ (2000), ‘Qadamgah’ (2003), 'Slowly' (2005), 'The Outcasts' (2006), 'Morning of the Seventh Day' (2008), 'The Extremists' (2009), 'Concert on Water' (2010), 'Thirteen 59' (2010), 'Dissertation' (2011), 'Twelve Chairs' (2011), 'Octopus' (2011), 'The Bear' (2011), 'The Pearl' (2012), and 'The White Hills' (2012).

He has also played roles in several series, including 'The Mirror' (1987), 'Rana' (1988-1990), 'The Smile of Life' (1993), 'Heroes Don't Die' (1995-1997), 'Neighbors' (2000), 'The Magic Lamp' (2000-2001), 'The Red Line' (2001), 'Night Lamp' (1999-2002), 'The Circle of Suspicion' (2002-2004), ‘No Pain, No Gain’ (2001), and 'A Time to Love' (2013).
