Hashemi, Asghar (born 1954, Kashan)

Asghar Hashemi began his career as an assistant to director Samuel Khachikiyan. 

Hashemi made his directing debut in 1985 with ‘Days of Waiting’. 

He has directed and written the script for ‘Under the City's Rooftops’ 
(1989), ‘Two Travel Companions’ (1991) and ‘Life’ (1997) and directed ‘Bibi's Dowry’ (1994), ‘Hostage’ (1995) and ‘The Bachelors’ (2004).
